Demising Wall in Former Boardroom

This is a member directed project requiring carpentry and finishing skills. All materials and drawings provided

  • Cut and erect wood stud framing to demise boardroom into club storage/ workspace and staff room
  • gypsum board wall each side, tape and mud 
  • sand, finish and paint 
  • demolish wall between boardroom and office
  • patch and finish where wall was removed
  • Install flammable storage cabinet 
  • apply provided resilient base
  • assemble Ikea Ivar shelving, install and secure to the wall

Work will be directed and scheduled by Brad Sippel.

Brad is an experienced contractor who is happy to help with developing skills and passing along tricks of the trade

Work will take place Tuesday and Wednesday early evenings 

Bring drywall and basic carpentry tools  


estimated 20 hours for three people



Our club is near the foot of Dowling Avenue, on the water's edge between Argonaut Rowing Club and the Boulevard Club. To park, turn south onto Net Drive from Lake Shore.
