A friendly volunteer-run club on Toronto's Humber Bay
Time to get our Dinghies into position for sailing!
During the week after the Ice Breaker Regatta, which takes place on the May Long Weekend, we will be able to move our dinghies into the main area.
We are looking for volunteers to help move dinghies from the west lot to the centre lot on Wednesday May 24 and Thursday May 25 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
If we get enough people on the first day, we may be able to get all the dinghies moved. However please sign up for whichever day works for you. If you are not needed for the second day, you will be contacted.
Please bring work gloves and heavy shoes/boots.
A diagram showing summer placement for the dinghies will be provided in the next few days. We request that Members DO NOT move their boats from the west lot to the main area on their own. In the past we have run into problems with boats getting damaged when the dinghy move was handled as a free-for-all.
Any questions, or to volunteer to help, please contact Philip Whitcombe, Communications Director.
Our club is near the foot of Dowling Avenue, on the water's edge between Argonaut Rowing Club and the Boulevard Club. To park, turn south onto Net Drive from Lake Shore.
