Registration is closed

Sign up for launch work crew / work hours. Click on the Registration button to begin the process. You will have the option to select the positions & time slots that interest you. This year, launch starts on Friday.

Launch 2024 dates and times

Friday May 3, 2024

Morning shift: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (please ensure you arrive early for shift start)

Afternoon shift: 12:00 PM to finish (usually around 5:00 PM but may go later depending on conditions, you may need to stay to the end depending on your role)

Notes:

Priority for volunteer hours is given to Senior Keelboat members (they are obligated to fill more hours.)

Want to sign up for the whole day on Friday (both shifts)? Sign up for both the "morning" and the "afternoon" ticket type.

First time volunteering? This guide will tell you what to expect on launch / haulout

A waitlist will be available. All positions will be confirmed by email closer to haul-out.

Please wear safety gear (provided) and weather-appropriate clothing. Sling handlers should wear gloves and steel toe boots.

Our club is near the foot of Dowling Avenue, on the water's edge between Argonaut Rowing Club and the Boulevard Club. To park, turn south onto Net Drive from Lake Shore.
